Q: How do you determine what you will barter?
A: We try to barter for things that other people will want. Additionally, we acquire lots of random things that we will put up for trade.
Q: What items do you barter for?
A: Anything of value really. Remember that one man's junk is another man's treasure. Additionally, just because something is valuable does not guarantee we will trade for it. You can always see our current "hot list" on the
Wanted Page.
Q: If we reach an agreement, what is the protocal for the trade?
A: You send your item to us. We
STRONGLY RECOMMEND using a trackable method and insuring your item if applicable. We are anot responsible for good that were lost or damaged in transit. Once we receive your item, we will email a confirmation to you. If your item is as described, we will ship your item to you.
Q: We are trading an item that is impractical to ship. What do we do?
A: For items that are impractical to ship, arrangements can be made to meet in person to trade.
Q: We live in the same geographical area. Can we arrange a meeting to swap instead of shipping the item?
A: Yes! We get out and about quite often. If our travels bring us close, then an in-person exchange is acceptable.
Q: You REALLY want an item that I want, but you did not accept my trade offer. Is there anything that I can do?
A: Trade refusals can be for many reasons. It could be simply that I already have several of the items you offered, or I might think that your item will be difficult to trade. Generally, I also try to trade up in value. If you offer an iPod Shuffle for a Laptop, I obviously have to decline. We are haggling, so pelase feel free to make another offer. It is difficult for me to know what you have. You might want to list several items that you have to see if we have any interest in them.
Q: Do trade have to be one item for one item?
A: No! You can offer multiple items for one of ours, or you can offer one item for more than one of our items.
Q: I offered you a very unique colletable item. Why didn't you accept my trade offer?
A: Collectibles can be difficult to accuratly value. The rarer the item, the more difficult it is. If you are offering a collectible, please give as much information as you can about the item.
Q: Do you buy / pay cash for items?
A: As a general rule, no. We like to barter for everything. However, if there is a deal that we cannot resist, then we might be inclined to buy.
Q: Can I pay cash for an item?
A: We prefer to barter, but if you prefer, you make a cash offer (or request a price).
